Does anyone besides me think that Dallas will never be a championship team with Romo as their OB? Sorry for the rant, but he just makes me shake my head.

i don't know either. Dude'S GOT HEART , but can't seem to get over the hump. Steve Young had a similar issue , but I don't remember him flaking out like Romo does..... OB... now that's funny right there!! Sorry the inner child came out again... Point!!

I agree with you to a point about Romo.Tony has as much athletic skill as any of the top 4 qb's of this decade(Rogers,Brady Drew and even Big Ben),but he also lacks field presence. At times he can look brillant, but at other times he plays out of control. And I blame that on discipline.
As a lifelong Cowboy fan(I started following the'Boys in 1960 when I was 10)I also look to the man who runs the Cowboys.Back in the 90's the Cowboys that won 3 Superbowls had an owner who let a coach(Jimmy Johnson) coach.
But at some point Jones decided he wanted to be more involved in what went on the field so he hired a succession of "yes men" to be Head Coaches.Only Parcell was able to challange Jones for control of what happened on the field. And we saw how long he lasted. And now we have Garrett.
Yes,part of the blame lies in the man who lines up behind the center, but some of the blame also has to be placed on the other two men on the field, one of whom needs to be up in his luxury suite.

I totally agree with the "lack of discipline" comment. I often refer to Romo as a movie star who is trying to play QB.......
