Read that this morning. Maybe me but it sure seems a lot of these older musicians and actors are passing around the same time. That or I’m reading too much news.

this week showed that a Ninety Six area resident who played bass guitar with the Righteous Brothers tours for 40 years died. Also said he toured with Herman's Hermits and with several other bands - list was impressive. Jose (Joe) Silva - guess he found the area a great place to retire since he was born in California and toured the world.

She was great as Ralphie’s mom. Darren McGavin was good too, but he was far too old for the part being in his 60s at the time while mom was in her early 40s. Both were pretty old to have kids that age.

She also had a memorable part in “Slap Shot” with Paul Newman.
