Certainly some offensive struggles but the defense is playing with a lot of aggression & a lot of smarts.

This is also historically how spring games go:

2016: 17-9
2017: 19-14
2018: 28-17
2019: 14-13
2021: 14-13
2022: 15-7

Not much excitement.

This will be our best defense in years and I don’t think it’ll be close. These sophomores and freshman are on a different level.

I hope you're right on that assessment. That'd be truly terrifying for opposing teams because we haven't had a bad defense in over a decade now.
