Neither will Duke
UCONN has a likely chance.
I think Kentucky will be the one to come out of Houstons’s bracket with Duke in it.

This team has shown what it is capable of.... both very very good, and some head scratchers.
We will see who shows up Friday. Its a coin flip for every game here out. Its hard to win 6 coin flips in a row. Its hard to be hot from behind the 3 point line 6 games in a row. Its hard to go six games without your big men getting in foul trouble early.
Thats why teams with experience and solid inside and outside play fair better. Teams loaded with talent of one and done players don't do well in the tourney b/c they lack the experience to prepare and play six solid games in a row. Look at Duke. They have talent as good as anyone (per recruiting rankings) but they are all young and lack experience. Their national championships and run of final fours ended about ten years ago even though their roster is just as talented, but way less experienced.
I think a sweet 16 is where my expectations lie for this team and I think they will be ready. Go Tigers !!!

Interestingly, a coin flip pretty much describes Brownell's career. His .582 overall record at Clemson is better than his .504 ACC career number. But in either case, you could pretty well just flip a coin for any game and come up with those numbers. Plus, you could rest the players and listen to the pep band with all the time saved.

I certainly HOPE we play well. But, given our history under Brad Brownell, I don't really have FAITH that we will. I DO HOPE he surprises me, though.

Yep. I hope we win it all. I want so much to see a Clemson Final Four before my time runs out.
OTOH, I assume it will not be this year. Nor will it likely be next year, given what Brownell's best team ever is losing in terms of talent and experience.

Excellent statement. I am no Brad fan at all, however,
I am a clemson fan and hope they win it all and will
root for them no matter what. On the other side of the
coin, it is easy to see why the skepticism, we were
10-10 in our last 20 games. Lets the hope the team that
won 10 comes in the last 20 comes to play, because
if they do we can play with anyone.
