under O.J.'s original post today (Sunday May 22).. telling of Clemson's Coach Wayne Hart having a 3-6 record and the unusual neutral sites that these teams played at.
Thought I knew my Tiger FB history but this floored me, especially who our HC of FB was (Wayne Hart)!
WHO?!
Great post 76'er..you have super snack of memory, history & writing skill and tying it in with a number that is relevant with something going on today..
like "106" days to our 2022 football start to "106" years ago when Tigers went 3-6 under a new FB Coach named Wayne Hart.
Please share more often!

OJ's daily post with a little Clemson history gleaned straight out of the Wickerpedia.
The older history is real interesting, though. You have to wonder if there were any crowds at all at some of these early games, early sites. Hardly any of the teams, including us, were playing at their current home stadiums back then. The age of the mega-stadium was still a few years off.
Georgia Tech started playing at what then was called Grant Field (now Bobby Dodd) in 1913. The original bleacher capacity, with the actual bleachers having been built by students, was all of 5,600 people.
Georgia playing "between the hedges" at Sanford Stadium was still more than a decade away.
