Pulling for Bockhorst to recover, but his tweet = bad look

Inserting this quote is clearly a swipe at Clemson fans. Makes him look thin-skinned. Not a good look.

You could tell he loves Clemson and wants to win as much as anyone. I love his attitude. Sorry we lose him for the season.

A bad look?? Clemson has critics everywhere, not just within the fan base. I thought that was actually a well thought out tweet

Maybe, but why leave it up for interpretation?

Just say you're proud to be a Clemson Tiger and leave it at that.

These players need to stop concerning themselves with social media.

They want fans to never mention it when someone has a bad play or a bad game.

Sorry...it doesnt work that way. Saying a player had a bad game is not character assassination, nor does it make one a bad fan.

Because everything is up for interpretation. And you are CHOOSING to think the worst of our guy who is being forced to end his career due to injury. Sorry he didn’t do it exactly as you think he should have. You guys are unbelievable.

I don't see anything negative in his tweet or the quote from Theodore Roosevelt.

The only ones that have an issue with that quote are the ones complaining about everything, every week. Losing sucks, but this staff has earned the right to have a re-building year. We the fans don’t like it, but it is just the nature of the game. . .the reality is that it happens. Not directing this at you, but for the people that can’t support this team when they are losing; please don’t support them when they are winning.

I don't really concern myself with athlete tweets.

Most are overly dramatic and self-serving. I'm not saying that Bockhorst's tweet is, because I didn't read it.

All I know is that Bockhorst had that fiery interview earlier this year talking a big game, and several days later he was unable to back up his comments. After that, I stopped really listening to what he had to stay.

I'm truly sorry for his injury, and hated that his season went so poorly and ended like that. Here's to a speedy recovery and no long-term issues.

I don't think he meant anything by it. If you read the rest of the article and his other quotes he just talks about how much the whole experience meant. He's just saying sometimes you do all that stuff and you end up on top of the world....other times you end up with years like this. Hope he recovers well and quickly!
