Starter for FSU couldn't go 2 innings. Starter hit batter with bases loaded, no puts. Reliever comes in and gives up 4 runs.

If most people on this board watched more than just Clemson games, they’d realize that college pitching pretty much sucks across the board- it ain’t just our team.

Fla. St. is proving why you need a good bullpen. They don't have one. Ours is not much better.

Like Ive tried telling them before. The average ERA across the nation is 6.00. No one has elite pitching this year.

it is 14-4 in the 6th - all 50 fans looking forward to going home early.

But Duke just walked first two batters in inning so might be moot point

Pitching is always is bad in a tournament Championship game but those Duke and FSU guys can rock the ball.

Yeah, they can, especially coupled with the fact how many games in a row. But who didn't see this coming in this tiny ballpark. Even though college baseball scores are slightly higher than average over the last decade, this tournament is more an indicative of the small venue and the fact the wind usually is blowing out.

It's also pitiful to have a championship game with empty seats. Horrific job by the acc. It's embarrassing.

Watching the Duke hitters early in this game, you could see they were dialed in and getting good rips almost every at bat. It was almost like they knew what was coming.
