Phil Steele-Pooh!

I do not agree with Phil Steele when he says that South Carolina has ruled Clemson in football over the last few years. Yeah, we lost, but USuc did not rule us. We played well and almost beat them.

the bad thing (actually the GOOD thing) is that almost nobody alive can remember a stretch like this so it's kind of hard for us to deal with.
Tip a cap to them and let it go - we're still a Top 15 team - nothing to be ashamed of. Just remember that this is as good as they will ever be, and they'll soon be returning to their doormat status. Their coach (best coach they will ever hope to have) is 70 years old and won't last much longer.

Coach Spurrier will be 68 this month, and has indicated that he still has 3 or 4 or so more years left in him. Btw, most of the men in the Spurrier clan live well into their 90's.
I can promise you that Gamecock Nation will insist on a coaching talent at least as good as SOS when the HBC decides to retire some time later in this decade . . . or so.

To carry on the run of glory. In all seriousness....OBS will be gone in a yr or two. His pride will dictate that because he will not make it back to sec ch game. No coach, even with a small degree of morals, will tell a qb recruit he may be gone in a yr or two. Charlie Strong is your most likely answer as a winner but it won't be because Tanner insists on having one. See who all interview for the coaching position where it took one of the best coaches in the history of the game to finally get them winning.

when did we almost beat them? all losses were by double digits. We haven't reached 20 points since 2008. When did we play well?

We have to stop losing to those $#@% Dirt Peckers and as much as I hate it, they have owned us. Last year was the first year it was reasonably close. Spurrier is in Dabo's head and that needs to change this year. I'm tired of the excuses and "we own the overall series" crap. Five in a ROW is what is in front of us. There is no coach or program that should have to deal with that, especially to the biggest jerk in the history of college football. Time for Dabo to KNOW he needs to win NOW. All the talk of a NC in our future is meaningless until we beat those Lamecocks. Dabo said we're a NC caliber team, OK - let's see it. No more Dabo, NO FREAKING MORE!!

Well, none of our recruits were in high school the last time we beat them. What Grandpa did is less important to these kids than what happened the last several years. It's time!

The last 4 years they dominated all 4 games... now the previous 15 years aren't ancient history and shouldnt be ignored, but cant say anything good about the last 4 years and we shouldnt try.

Now that Auburn is off the schedule maybe our head coach can focus on our rival and not his rival.
