Offense and defense

Our offense is terrible and the world knows that but State ran 47 more plays than we did. We cannot totally blame our offense tonight because we could not stop State enough. State converted 11 times on 3rd down, that's right 11 times. We averaged more per play than State did but just could not get enough first downs and could not stop them.

You do realize that our defense was on the field for 75%

of the game because our offense couldn't convert any third downs right? Our defense is stellar and was missing key players. They can't play for 45 minutes and keep from getting gassed.
