reporter thinks so and is only putting the ACC and Big12 down for 1 spot each while the SEC and B1G get 4 each. We are living in a Power 2 world for sure now.

Pretty stupid to even think about Playoff spots until at least the first of November. In conference losses will take care of there being 4 teams from a conference making it.

...ND will have to go 11-1 or better to get a spot.

Otherwise SEC and B1G split the 9 spots.
