Not Mean Enough

Our OL is just not mean. I have heard stories about Charlie Pell buying steak dinners for Jeff Sewell to get Joe Bostic riled up at practice, just to make him better. Now everyone gets steak and complains that the fans don’t understand their feelings.
Part of the issue is that we recruit these ‘dancing bear’ giants, who get an extra star since we sign them, then just never develop beyond pass blocking.
We need hard nosed players - notice how the 3 stars on NCSU push our 4/5 stars around. That’s coaching and player development.
