under water, it leaves a mark that no amount of 'let it soak' will undo, I think the water bonds it stronger.

OK - did research - comfort height, “right” height, chair

height toilets are all the same thing - and to hit this category, the top of the seat has to be 17” to 19” from the finished floor
Standard height toilets are 14” to 15”.
I’d never heard the phrase chair height - we always talk of it as comfort height.
We only put in elongated, comfort height anymore - don’t even ask - unless it is in a tight space & the elongated makes it too close to the opposite wall.
