Lightbulb Bill is 80 today, Happy Birthday Lightbulb Bill !

As my first post on Tigernet I am pleased to share that today is Lightbulb Bill’s 80th Birthday!

Bill is a 1966 graduate of Clemson University and was the original Flagman. I know I don’t need to say much more as he has already told his story with a few thousand posts on Tigernet.

Happy Birthday Dad! As your son and fellow Clemson graduate, my blood does certainly run Orange.

Thanks for all of the love and support you have given me over the years. I have more great memories than I can recall, many of which involve Clemson.

From the Orange Bowl in Miami, to Boston College, Massachusetts to College Station, Maryland, to Notre Dame in South Bend, Indiana and almost everywhere in between, you have cheered on the Tigers for more than 60 years. You are a great Clemson ambassador.

Yep..being 80 isn’t what I envisioned but still a super day what with your 1st ever post message on TN and having ESPN’s Gameday host Rece Davis do a funny cameo to me...

and my GF#1 taking me to St Augustine to Harry’s outdoor patio for a Bourbon drink, Cajon seafood meal & a slice of key lime pie..

and gifts, cards, texts & emails from my Daughter & others!

Oh, using the “Babybulb” name was a hoot!
