Reason that Jim Davis was forced out of the coaching job for lady basketballers. He was a very successful coach and,suddenly he wasn’t the coach. Anyone know the true story?

I don't either but I heardsome folks in the athletic department felt it should led by a woman.

Mr. Davis's last three years at Clemson were not acceptable in the won/loss column. The assistant AD who oversaw women's basketball recognized the changing times in regards to men coaching women's sports. That's pendulum has swung back to some degree as athletic departments just want to win.
