In his first interview after resignation a visibly angered Caslen shot back at his former employer:

"Geez, I make ONE little slip up over two words that both start with "Ca" and all I catch is heat, while half the student body and alumni actively associate themselves with the University of Alabama, wear Alabama caps, fly Alabama flags, and have Alabama bumper stickers. Eff this sorry trash dump."

No comment yet from the University of Alabama or their satellite campus in downtown Columbia.
