The Georgia game and NC St. game could have just as easily been won as they were lost.

That being said, where would you place Clemson right now in the rankings if they had pulled out the wins and
had a record of 6-0 ?

Top four? Top ten?

If the “eye test” means anything where would we be?

I don't put that much weight on the eye test, except at the margins, when we've got the same record. I'd put a 6-0 Clemson at around 3-5. But those games weren't won, they were lost, and except in some blowouts, you can always point to 4-5 plays that made the difference (go back to the 2018 title game, there were really only about 5 plays making that difference, same in 2019).
