Given that, next year looks no better, or even worse, than this year due to the losses in personnel.
I am taking that from press reports, not from listening to the presser directly.
What do others think?
And do the admins share his opinion on portal use?

I agree I see minimal changes window dressing Dabo just doesn’t see the issues with the program it’s mind boggling.

Don’t know what’s up with the all Caps but we absolutely keep scrubs on this team that need to be shown the door. Almost all teams process players except Dabo. Till graduation do we part he says. At this day and age you got to start cutting guys and hitting the portal. Open NIL wide open. You are building a team every year.
Of you want me to break down our scholarship list of players that need to go I can.

Please support this statement with factual references. There are 265 D1 football teams so lets say "almost all" equates to 75%. Fair?
I look forward to you providing 199 examples of D1 teams "processing" players.

…that is ACTUALLY interested in using his athletic skills to get a GOOD EDUCATION with a degree that will prepare him for a GOOD job that pays him well and has a financially upward trajectory in life.
And, BTW, I APPLAUD this as it reflects the origin and foundation of the scholarship award for a student athlete.
Unfortunately, this academic motivation is usually accompanied with 3-star or low 4-star players. The high 4-star and 5-star players have the NFL as their destiny, while making a few million dollars BEFORE they get there.
Maintaining an integrity to the STUDENT in the term student-athlete in the present pay-to-play seems to be naive at best.
I suspect that at the “money programs”, the conversation revolves around the money being paid to the player, the football facilities, and the non-football social amenities, and BTW, “hey, if you are interested, we also have some interesting and fun courses that you can enroll in if you want to”. Emphasis being on “if you want to”.
I doubt graduation rates are even mentioned by the “money schools”.
I love CDS and what he has done for Clemson University. However, I do believe that his present commitment to the STUDENT-ATHLETE with the emphasis on STUDENT, GRADUATION, and SCHOLARSHIP is just completely INCOMPATIBLE with the present pro-college game.
Just sayin’.

If CV was any good he would be playing some. Blabo is so one minded that he called a ck running play in the 4th qtr when we were well ahead. CV should have been in there. CK’s heisman ship sailed 6 or 8 weeks ago.

For those who think the “Dabo needs to go” crowd (which I am at this point) are ridiculous, look no further than his own words. Dabo is not willing to play the modern winning game and would rather stick to his guns, even if it means the new standard is 8 win seasons. If you’re fine with that and the passionate postgame speeches coming after beating Louisville to go 5-5, rather than beating Notre Dame to be in the CFP hunt, than you’re gonna get your wish as long as Dabo remains. He’s not going to change — we are not a football program that’s serious about winning. Look at the Swinney 2-point conversion and the failed Woods TD against Louisville. Dabo cares more about making Disney stories than wins anymore because he views himself as one of those stories. He’s washed and so are we

The numbers tell a different story if we are going to 105 scholarships. Stay tuned for signing day in December and you will start to get an idea of numbers.

Hate to say this but reading what Dabo had to say, next year may be worse. We will be outclassed by better players at almost every position because Dabo drug his heels on the portal.

Dabo will usher in another 5-loss record next year:
His won-lost record shows in this pattern:
2021- 10-3
2022- 11-3
2023- 9-4
2024- 10-4
2025- 5-5 or 6-6 (depending upon the USC game)
2026? - his recession in losses looks likes another 6-6 season
If Swinney doesn’t retire or resign from Clemson in a few years, he will be fired.
