Now, please hear me: I don't think Gen Z or Millenials are lazy as a group -- I've been around long enough to have known and employed or worked with plenty of shiftless pogues, both young and old.
Therefore, saddling an entire generation with pejoratives like "spoiled," "entitled," "lazy," or "soft," is just a bunch of horse hockey. I have great hope for my children's generation.
HOWEVER, some days, when it comes to helping the other, younger leaders on your payroll become the best possible versions of themselves, ever finding yourself wishing you had a buncha bats, a tiled shower room floor, and a sidekick named Larry to work with?
It's hard to instill a good work ethic. That has to be done by the parents at an early age. I always tried to hire good people knowing they would work hard with a good attitude. Most anyone can learn to do a job, but attitude and dedication can't be taught. Words of wisdom...
