Seems the best bet energy wise, but possibly Mike Reed or the wildcard on the analyst staff - Ted Roof.

But I don't think BV is going anywhere.

I suspect he would go the Venables route and hire a current DC with a proven track record. (Think how much fun this board could have if he hired Lanning away from UGA. ?? )

You never know what Dabo's thinking but I don't see anyone on the defensive staff ready for that gig. As I said yesterday, watch for Mike Elko based on prior relationship with Dabo and mutual admiration. Staggs at CCU has some great credentials and his D's stats have been strong everywhere he has ever been including Furman but don't know if he can recruit or is ready for bigtime. Knowles at Okie State is another good one.
