Just got done playing NCAA 12 online and no lie I beat this dude 124-0.. Like I said I am honestly shocked that this guy never quit.. I have never seen that before.. Most people I play quit once they get down by 2 touchdowns..

So this game is nowhere close to actual games? Cumberland is the only real team to lose like that. Not sure why you chose to be WVU though. :)

The real Cumberland team literally failed to show up for Georgia Tech game. Cumberland discontinued their football program prior to the season. The manager for Cumberland rounded up 14 guys to play Tech, so that Cumberland could avoid a $3000 penalty for not playing the game

John Heisman led his team to the historic 222-0 blowout over some guys.

The skill gap in that game was probably comparable to NFL vs a losing 3A HS team.

GT had 1620 rushing yards in route to 32 touchdowns. GT was 30-32 on XP. Presumably they could have scored another 30-34 points had they opted to go for 2 points after each touchdown. Success rate would certainly have been 90+%

Hate to insult a former Clemson coach, but that just seems classless on Heisman's part. You'd think he would've been putting in the towel boys in the second half or something just to make it interesting.

Theories on Heisman running up the score.

1) Cumberland whipped GT 22-0 in baseball game earlier that year. Revenge.
2) Rankings included scoring margin as a factor. Heisman disapproved of this and ran up the score to demonstrate the problem with this.

Of course, I would be livid if Clemson put in the scrubs early in the 4th quarter while up only 221-0 over the Coots.

He said he was playing NCAA 12 online and the guy wouldn't let him score a single touchdown. Said he lost like 0-124... He's four... Thanks a lot. ;)
