Home run runner fails to touch home

Watching du k e MO game and Duke player hits go ahead home run in 9th, races around bases in excitement and 3rd base coach and another player on 1st base dugout side push her back to touch plate. Umps go to replay ,which happens way to much in this sport, to review...I guess to see if player was touched prior to finally touching plate. Ump rules she touched first time thru. I think ESPN announcers/producer lost great talking point...is she out if touched by player prior to going back to touch home? Why is that different from walk off home run when hitter touched by many prior to touching plate? I don't think they knew so it wasn't discusses. Anyone?

She touched the plate with the front of her shoe clearly. She didn’t go back to touch the plate.

Even though review by ump indicated she touched, she did go back to touch. Since she was ruled to have already touched plate, mute point...my main point is why was there no discourse at all by play by play and color on what is kinda complex?

I would think that the players wouldn’t be allowed to crowd the plate so it’s not an issue but they do.

Coaches and players that aren't on the field aren't allowed to assist a runner.

It's not a high five, it's assistance/coach's interference.

and the weird thing is in some rule sets a player that crossed the plate first and didn't leave the field can assist the runner but a player from the dugout cannot.
