gotta rant: against my better judgement i went downtown

to meet with an architect on a project we are working on. i despise going down there, the traffic is terrible, there is an extreme shortage of parking and tourist everywhere.

so on top of a normally bad situation the city has 2 entire blocks of broughton street, one of the busiest streets in savannah, closed to repave and add landscape islands which will reduce the available parking even more. i finally found a parking space 6 blocks from the architects office.

i did have some entertainment on the walk back to my vehicle. two rocket scientist had gotten a forklift stuck in the fresh asphalt of one of the delivery lanes. they were trying to pull it out with a strap attached to a dodge sedan. right before i got within range the strap popped loose from the forklift and hit the rear window of the car. i wish i had my camera out to record it for youtube.

the one above them, the warehouse racks falling down...#### that is such a nightmare. I would just straight up leave. Like unearth myself from that rubble and clock out.
