I have no idea, but I just looked at the scores of several teams. All but the top three had at least one horrible score and most had two.

FSU had an 84 and a 78.
Clemson had an 82 and an 80.

Looks like +6 will be 8th place. Still 2 rounds to go.

It is a tough course. Maybe weather was a factor? Maybe nerves

The writeup on ClemsonTigers.com about the Tigers first round said that the conditions were difficult throughout the day as golfers played in a consistent mist with winds up.The course plays at 7538 yards so that is not an easy task either when playing in the conditions that were reported.Looks like everybody in the 30 team field is having a over par first round.The Tigers are only 9 strokes out of 15th place so far,which is important in making the cut after Sunday's round.

Was very bad.
While conditions were tough - all the teams had them.
Only ahead of 4 teams out of 30.
Need to go very low tomorrow.

This is kind of who they've been all year. Had a great regional but for most of the year they've been middle of the pack or worse.
