The drain, but I will say it's impossible for someone to say unequivocally what the "best" cheap Bourbon is because it's all dependent on taste. I don't particularly care for Evan Williams if I'm going mid range I'll buy Elijah Craig. If I wanna go the well drink route I'll find Ancient Ancient Age it's the same mash bill as Blantons but obviously not aged the same way or length.

Not a fan of Evan, Jack, or Jim well bottles. Would go with cheapest Four Roses or Elijah Craig any day.

I’ve beaten this drum many times, Four Roses single barrel is one of the best all around affordable options. If you haven’t had the pleasure, put it on the list.
