Fan Appreciation Day

I know a lot of people have wanted to know about Fan Appreciation Day and will there be one this year. I was hoping to have some news on that by now, but there isn't really a lot to report. There was the COVID interruption and then construction inside Death Valley (the concourses used to store supplies and both ends being closed) hampered it. I know there is continued dialogue about having the event this year, but there are a lot of logistics to work out between now and then (especially with how NIL affects the autograph landscape). I spoke with someone this morning who is all over it and their response was, "I am not optimistic and I am not pessimistic. We would love to do it, but there are still a lot of things to be worked on." So, for now, we have to be patient.

And wasn’t able to get Dabo’s autograph. I was hoping for the fan appreciation day event. I understand with NIL that troubles things a lot.

I was wondering do you know of any events throughout the year that Dabo will be at that allows autographs?

But to kinda play 'devil's advocate'

Before covid.. there complaints about mile(s) long line outside of DV to get autographs from players/coaches...

I kind of knew then that this event wasn't probably not gonna happen anymore...

Again this was Before covid....
