Dont'e Thorton Enters Transfer Portal

Dec 5, 2022, 12:32 AM

I know it won't happen, but Oregon's receiver Dont'e Thornton announced he's entering the portal. This guy can be a very big time player. 6'4.5 with extremely sure hands and runs a sub 4.6 40 now. He was a big player when asked to play this year for Oregon. He could be a huge playmaker.

Graham Neff is all over the NIL situation. No problem.***

Maybe its the player, maybe its the scheme but I just want to see a Clemson receiver that consistently open. I don't care if he's a portal guy, a new recruit or one we already have, I'd love to see one that's open by 5+ yards on half his catches. If its the system then I want that OC. Maybe it was all on DJ, and Cade is the magic cure. I truly hope so, he definitely looked the part against UNC. Its been so long since we had receivers that didn't have to make contested catches all day. Antonio Williams is by far the most slippery receiver we have that can manage good separation, could definitely use a guy behind him with the same skillset jic.
