basketball coach and program. Too often we’ve seen big recruiting weekends featuring Dabo and prospects at basketball games only to have Brad tank us late game and blow the enthusiasm, making Dabo’s work that much harder. Also, football is shouldering all of the burden of positive promotion of Clemson, so we miss out on mid-January to April national awareness and furthering our brand, again to the detriment of Dabo and his program.
12 years is long enough for Brad to show how he can support football – and it’s obviously not working out. Not only has he not leveraged our unparalleled success on the gridiron to his advantage with so many kids coming of age who know where Clemson is on the map today, he isn’t reciprocating by putting consistent winners on the court week in and week out and further pushing Dabo’s cause and doing it the Dabo way. It’s almost like Brad is doing it the anti-Dabo way just for spite. We simply can’t have that.
While Brad seems like a decent fellow and parting is such sweet sorrow and all, his inability to help build and support Clemson football cannot go unchallenged. It’s time to bring in someone who can produce better results on the court and thus play their proper role with football. If we don’t make a change soon we can kiss that 4th football natty goodbye.

Yeah I would normally be in agreement with that but apparently steadily waning attendance and enthusiasm doesn't seem to factor in our decisions. And the way Mama B (JK) and some other diehard Brown L fans dig on Dabo and football and those fans, perhaps it's time to shift the narrative around Brad towards simply supporting football instead of being a drag on the program, rather than what he can deliver to fans and students in general in basketball.
