I like Deion. It could just be a bad fit. Colorado is kind of a novelty at this stage. On the other hand Deion is trying to build something. So who knows? Actually, I said I like the kids concepts. I should have said I like the concept of his comment. In all reality he should have just moved on. Colorado does seem like a novelty though at this stage. They might have some issues after this next season. They might be terrible.

Deion knows what the grind has to look like. He is the best to ever play at his position. I would imagine Cormani doesn't put in the work ethic necessary to achieve that level of greatness. But if you hear Deion comment about Travis Hunter, he raves about the kid's work ethic.
That leads me to believe that Deion's comments were genuine while Cormani's comments were an attempt to throw shade.

Although perhaps the Greatest Cover Corner of all time, I would never say Deion was the Best to ever play at the Position because he REFUSED to Tackle and Stick his Nose into Tackling!!!! He would Catch somebody from behind and take a Piggyback ride. However, he was generally a Chicken Sh!t in the run game.

But this guy was notoriously lazy. Got kicked off his HS team which is hard to do as a 5-star athlete. Also had some controversy about hiding in the bathroom during workouts.
Deon is an absolute idiot and completely unqualified for his role, but this dude isn’t some kind of martyr. Kinda seems like the perfect player for that program tbh.

Is in the NFL HOFer that went 27-6 in 3 years as a head coach in a D1 program. That program was 4-8 prior to his arrival and in (covid) year 1 went 4-3, then went 11-1 and 12-2 and finished as conference champions in both years.
Candidate 2 was an ex commercial real estate guy turned WR coach and former D1 walk on.
I get you hate the guy, but unqualified? Come on man.
Look at what he's done in Colorado so far. Are they the next Alabama? Of course not. They certainly showed vast improvement in year 1 in many areas though.
