Cade played a great game on Saturday! Took care of the ball and fit the ball in tight windows.

Yes they seemed to stall out in the late third to fourth quarter but just remember that ND also has D1 athletes on their side of the ball with a great coaching staff. It's called adjustments.

in this season's race. I expect him to pull toward the front by season's end. He showed glimpses of what he's capable of doing all season long but he failed to string enough together to force a win. I suspect some of the TOs haunt him still.

The 6 for 6 completions on one drive shows what he is capable of doing. It was a masterful performance to see our guys work like that. Cade was knocking the numbers off our receivers jerseys without changing their momentum. The best part of that was keeping the chains moving and the drive alive. Missed on those passes are more subject to interception than anything else if they are thrown high, in front or behind the receiver.

Those passes to laterally moving targets disrupt and destroy a defense and compliments the runs and w Phil took full advantage of them. Phil's vision, toughness, determination and speed was another highlight.

I didn't get a great look at the INT and haven't rewatched yet. My first thought was it took a bad bounce & wasn't Cade's fault. Did he put too much on it?

In any case, Cade led the team to a scoring drive (a great answer) on the next possession.

Just watched again to make sure but this was indeed on Collins... Again. Beaux has too many drops. This one hit him square in the chest and bounced into the defenders hands.
