never, ever hit a bad shot that was his fault. On our "home" course, there was a short, straight par 4 that he would INVARIABLY hit his drive out of bounds to the right on. He was, as one golf writer later put it, distracted by the noise of butterflies flapping their wings in the adjoining meadow.
That is Ohio State under Ryan Day to a "T". Losses always happen only because someone screwed them. So, if Stroud was sick, I guess they figure God screwed them now.
