There's been a lot of good softball so far in these superregionals, but one complaint I'd make is that it seems like teams really struggle to score and get on base in these high-level softball games. I guess you could say the same for baseball to an extent, but it seems like the elite softball pitchers are just too good for the hitters a lot of times, and it just turns the game into a soccer match. It is impressive how long softball pitchers can throw, however. I'm pretty sure both starters in that game went the distance and had pitch counts above 150. Basically throwing 2 complete games back-to-back with no break in between. You'd never see that in baseball, though obviously baseball pitches are more high-stress on the arm.
