Anyone got any suggestions on how I could April Fool Mrs. CBProf?

We tend to get each other each year - but it is always in fun.

The goal is to trick my wife into thinking something that might be a bit of a bummer - then at the end of the day we both have a good laugh about it.

The goal is not for me to come home and discover my things scattered on the front lawn and then find that the door locks have all been changed.

Any suggestions?

I have tricked my wife on so many things, from telling her I was calling from the emergency room, calling from jail, our homeowners policy has been cancelled, our bank accounts cleaned out.......on and on and on. She hates me for a day and then gets back to her sweet lovable self for 53 years and counting!

Then when you take her to Red Robin instead, say "April Fools" and enjoy the rest of your evening in the proverbial doghouse. She may laugh about it eventually.

Or you could do the Red Lobster/Red Robin thing in reverse.

Does she like donuts? If so, here you go.

Buy filled donuts.
Get those cheap condiment bottles with the nozzel. Squeeze mustard,ketchup, mayo, ranch etc in them. I pulled it on my kids and it was classic.
