Another waste of a Nascar race

Jeff gordon had the whole field covered and nobody was going to beat him. But stupid gas mileage ruined the whole thing. Does anybody know who paul menard is cause I sure dont.

Paul Menard has been one of those guys that has been around and never had the equipment to get it done until this year. He's paid his dues, be happy for him.
Strategy is as much a part of racing as speed.
All the different winners this year has kept it interesting instead of the same 4-5 winning everything.
I guess Gordan running out front by 2-3 seconds for the whole race would have been much more exciting.

race. A bunch of regulated equality, everyone can win. If that is exciting, we have it. The thought of Jeff Gordon running away with it makes me shudder, but I do long for the days when a couple of brothers could come from Dawsonville with a better idea and reset the standard. If that means Gordon wins if he's better, so be it.

i mean who really wants to watch cars go around a track 400 times. No wonder people get so drunk at those races.

They no longer race, they just fight to get into a single-file line and then log laps. There's nothing competitive about it anymore. It's just traffic.
I haven't watched a race for more than about 5 minutes for the last two years. Just long enough to say, "Yep, same old BS." and turn it off.
