Yes they weed out the ones Nick doesn’t want, he makes them run bleachers everyday before the portal opens.

Looking at the Data from several websites and some Tigernet post it appears the TP’s success rate is very low. The Data indicates it has is bad move for many athletes who have chosen or were pressured to enter the portal. I hope the 11 players who are transferring from Clemson looking for more playing time or a starting position would at least give it more thought and review the TP data. I believe Dabo gives every player his chance to earn playing time. But they have to remember Dabo per the fans is paid to win games. Dabo is stuck between fans / wins and his goal Education, building quality individuals and winning. It is difficult to please everyone. IMO the TP is teaching these kids to give up rather than fight believing they will find greener fields at some other school. The TP data does not support their thinking.
It’s unfortunate that many coaches do not care about the off field success of players as do the coaches at Clemson.
Many players never saw the field again after transferring out from Clemson. Other saw the field rarely. If Feaster had stayed at Clemson I believe Dabo would given as much or more playing time than the coots. I believe they wanted Feaster for what he could share about the Clemson football program. I just hope all of these players received or will get there degree’s.
Unfortunately, for DJ I feel we as fans are as responsible for his transfer as any other factors. Fans beat up on DJ through social media, possibly face ton face, website, sports talk shows and I would not rule out coaches and players from other schools trying to hurt Clemson recruiting.
DJ so many wish you the best in your future. We thank you for being a team leader and for leading us to 2 years of 10 plus wins. No one worked harder to make improvements in their abilities as an athlete and as a person. You are and will always be a Tiger. Clemson will always be a part of your home.
I am excited to see you grow as a man of integrity, honesty and character. And I am excited to see you use your athletic skills to be a successful player or a successful coach. I see such a great future for you.
