Probably not anything that most of us don't already know, but just ties it all up. I agree that unless we get Notre Dame, we're pretty much at a stall and it wouldn't make much difference in just getting West Virginia or anyone else. But if we get Notre Dame, that would be the difference maker and then we could add West Virginia just to bolster more inventory, fan interest, excitement etc.

Yes, the ACC needs ND in the worst way, but I'd be shocked if they joined up full time.

The only option is for FSU, Miami, VT and UNC to rise up big time.

New Springs will have to step up the contributions to help

As someone posted earlier, one option is for all nonSEC schools to vote no to expanding playoffs to 12, stop it at 8 with 5 conf champs and 3 at large or go to only 6, 5 champs and 1 at large.

Yep, that would not only make the SEC likely regret

going so big, but it would also force Notre Dame to have to join ACC and one up them on this expansion. No need to get West Virginia if drop divisions and just split the new money 15 ways instead of 16.
