Playing their buttts off and taking it to us..losing just by 5 pts when some thought it would be 25 pts.

Saying , if Clemson had won by many more points, then you know how some football players get big heads and then surprised the next opponent.

Well, I think our team..particularly the D, knows they're in for a long evening with a team that now matches up very favorably stat-wise.

I make ref to horse racing...before every(almost)race, the trainer will
give his horse a BLOWOUT, which is a short hard/fast run to get him
sharp and on edge....THE COOTS GAVE OUR DEF A QUICK BLOWOUT, and yes,
they will be sharp and on top of their game next Sat. night/52/31...

I thought that, too. While I'd love to have won by 50 points in Cootlumbia, the result may be just what is needed to keep focus, particularly on the D side.

Yea hopefully they do come out pissed. Funny to hear fans of a team that lost by 5 but really wasn't that close. Down 12 scoring with 1 sec left to make it a bit closer isn't almost a win. I didn't expect a blowout. They still have talent there recruiting has been good up until this year. As a matter of fact they are 20th or better every year back until 2010. What they have done is take the easy way out for being terrible. What would suck is if we do lose to unc and they beat them. All we will hear is you barely beat us and we beat the acc champs who you couldn't. That's how ignorance works. They will look past the fact we beat them.
