DRad's success at Clemson

DRad's top achievements, in my opinion, have been (in no particular order):

1. Athletes' continued success and improvement in the classroom.
2. Establishing the softball program (which has been tremendously successful).
3. Ensuring the continuity of the football program's success, including having a harmonious relationship with Dabo.
4. Improvements in soccer with NCAA tournament appearances in all but one year since 2013.

He hired Paul Johnson while at GT.

He also had a role in getting their ACC Title vacated and gave us 2 home games in a row against GT. I’m sure he’s loved there

To be fair as much as TDP was trashed for soccer, he hired Noonan, not DRad.

The best thing DRad did was allow Dabo to create Thad Turnipseed’s role and allow Dabo’s vision to grow

The TNet crowd has really tried to look stupid with over reactions this year so I'm glad you made this post. Everyone wants to just cast him aside but don't realize that he's contributing in the background. It takes work and grease to keep the train moving and DRad hasn't done anything to disturb that. If Dabo is happy with him, which I have no reason to think he isn't, then I'm happy with him.

What about NIL guys? I'm sure Clemson was pulling political strings to get NIL laws passed and having the legal team prepped so we were ready support kids when it was legal. This is essential to Dabo's (and others) recruiting efforts.

When COVID hit and he had to adjust budgets he did. He even tried to kill some programs, which a lawsuit (unavoidable) killed, and was able to get more donations to keep them alive. I haven't seen any "Clemson Athletics is going Bankrupt" stories. That's pretty important.

And most importantly he's kept most of the football staff together. He has a VERY important job of trying to keep Venables here RIGHT NOW.

Telling DRad not to let the door hit him on the way out is short sighted.
