pretty much gone. I care about championships. I didn't think we had a shot at the MNC because of Oregon and 'Bama. I wanted the ACCCG though. Is that too much to ask when your team is playing at this high of a level. Well, what we thought was a high level.
Call it sour grapes. Call it being a sore loser. Call it what you want, but second place doesn't sit well with me. All we have left to really play for now is beating the coots and that's only so we can shut their beaks.
I'm glad that we're still in the top 10 and I'll sport my Tiger gear every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (and some times Thursday) like I always have. Win, lose, or draw. Wore it today and wanted to punch all of the ##### giving me funny looks.
The rest of the season just won't be the same after this loss. #Sucks #ButtHurt #Mangina

Well said! You took the words right out of my mouth. What really sucks is the fact that the media still talks about the West Virginia game. We will still hear about last nights game at least the next two seasons. Clemson Football Teams should never get blown out. Losing a game is one thing, but getting curb stomped is completely different. I am a realist. The best we can do at this point would be win out and hopefully get an at large BCS Bid. If not, see you in Atlanta for the chicken bowl. Either way I will be there. GO TIGERS!

followed our program for nearly 50 years as I have, you learn to celebrate any and all victories, deplore losses, but realize that we're simply not going to be undefeated every year.
That's why I've always preferred to take one game at a time and avoid overspeculating on the what if's. The latter usually results in the proverbial tossing in of the towel after a loss, which is certainly what we don't want our team to do.
Thus, should we have a winning season, then participate in a significant bowl, we will have accomplished what a whole lot of programs wish they could. No one was more disappointed than I over our loss to FSU, but I choose to remain optimistic, confident in our talent and abilities, and hopeful for a successful conclusion to our season.
Lastly, don't take this as criticism of your post, for I know you are a loyal, dedicated Clemson friend...one who Clemson is proud to claim as one of its own!
