Some people might say what's good for the goose is good for the gander. Why should only one side be able to victimize and cancel others ruining their livelihoods without fear of repercussion?
It's like this situation we are in now in the govt where you have a party that impeached a sitting president twice without having an inquiry at all but when the other side starts a presidential impeachment inquiry , the other side goes bananas screaming about being victims of witch hunts.
or the same people who have gone through every single inch of a former presidents personal life and business dealings to try and put him in prison, then they scream foul and call him Hitler when that man has a possibility of getting back in office and doing the same in return to them
Do you not see the hypocrisy on both sides of these issues?

funny how much this board will embrace cancel culture when someone says mean things about Dabo.
It's regrettable that you are trying to link the current culture wars to this situation as they are not the same. As a ROH member, there is a written standard required of all members as they have a duty to represent Clemson University. This is not just a case of not liking what he said, it's the fact that he (apparently) did not try to resolve the issue privately before sharing with the public. He also stated he and his family were no longer supporters of Clemson University so why would we keep a person in the ROH who does not actively support our University?

Exactly! Bizarre to me how TNetters completely accept one side of the story and completely reject the other when none of us saw it first hand. I knew the Dabo kool aide was thick…but I did not realize to what degree. I wasn’t there, so I’m not about to pick sides. But I know enough to know either side could very well be true.

Time (for everybody) to move on.
I was looking at the rules for the Ring of Honor. One item caught my attention:
"Athletic accomplishments after their Clemson career are not a primary consideration in the nomination, but they must retain an unblemished record of citizenship after they leave Clemson."
For me, being arrested with a hooker would not meet the criteria. Also, trashing our HC publicly without making an effort to deal with the issue privately would also not meet the criteria. Hopefully Clemson leadership will take a close look to make sure the standards of the ROH are upheld.

He was a walk on and got on the team because he's a "legacy." Hence, gets scholarship (taking up a more deserving player's spot), then quits team because of playing time or slacking off and wants to go elsewhere. If I were a coach, that would make me pretty pissed off too. Good bye, probably should have been somewhere else anyway. There's probably not any other coaches gonna put up with that attitude either.

Last time I checked you can’t just take a scholarship. One can be offered to you and you can accept…but you can’t just go and take one from a more deserving person. And if he isn’t deserving…talk to Dabo…tell him he is doing a poor job of deciding whom scholarships are offered to.
And put up with what? Wanting to go to another school for a chance to play…it’s a pretty common thing now, and I’m going to guess Dabo didn’t bless out every kid that wants to transfer.
And while we are on the topic of slander, what do Tnetters think they are doing to Terry Kinard and his son. None of us no the whole story. But to trash both the dad and son without knowing them and without witnessing first hand the situation…well that my friends is the definition of slander.
