Interesting. You didn't seem to factor in that we lost to UNC in a midweek game. You were ready to use it as conclusive evidence UNC was better than us.

Since you referenced the Cubs... The Cubs had a stretch earlier in the season where they swept 7 straight games from the Pirates and the Nats (two very good teams), and then immediately followed that up by losing 2 of 3 at home to the Padres who are the 3rd or 4th worst team in baseball.

There's no other professional sport where a dominant team wins 60% or so of their games, and an all-time great team wins 70%.
