It’s all in the percentages that don’t matter one bit in life! If it was 60% or less after years they’d be thinking coot but even then it’s nothing but a number that won’t ever matter in the scale of life.

A system that allows anonymous people to "rate" you on a generic scale without the reason for their rating even needing to be addressed is a system that labels you good or bad based on whims, knee jerk reactions or someone else's current mood.
Maybe someone didn't think their post out very well before posting, but it goes on their record forever nonetheless. IMO, the mods implemented the system in order to take some of the moderating off their shoulders and put it onto the users.
In any event, it's no better than the suppressive communist Chinese social credit scoring system and makes Tigernet conformist, narrow-minded and boring - not to mention squelching our first amendment rights.

that you brought up. You will basically have to earn TDs before you can use them. So a new user will not be able to TD. I think conformist, narrow-minded and boring is a little harsh though

My experience here is much less than you. I am positive that dissenting opinion is not the problem.
Disagreement and debates are half the fun here. No reason we should all agree on anything.
Your problem (Tnet problem) is the cowards who just snipe from the shadows. It is a shame they can do that. Solid posters will TD (as they should) and tell you why.

i thought a long time ago td’ers were revealed just like tu’ers. MANY have advocated for that feature. I remember this one poster(whom i finally figured out by blocking) would spend hours on tnet just td’ing my every post. Then finally slipped up and actually replied to one of my poasts which tipped me to the lunatic’s identity.
It’s all part of the tnet fun and games.
but seriously…i think TD’ers should be revealed just like TU’ers.

I'm at 68% . I have been at 68% for 12 years now. It got that low back when the fan base was divided over weather or not to promote the WR coach to HC. That issue was resolved, but I still remain at 68%. You would think I would either improve or fall, but no it's 68%. Because of that people calle Coot and whatnot. These same people see me at games and high five me and tell me I'm a loyal Tiger. So I just ignore the polls altogether.
