Not Football Related but.....

Walmart is doing what amounts to the old "Jedi Mind Trick" to it's customers. They get you to buy their products and then make you work for Walmart by using the self checkout. Now here's the catch, they make you feel that they're doing you a favor by providing the self checkout so you can be in and out quicker. If they would open up all those cash registers and hire cashiers, you would be in and out just as fast. Also they would be supporting their claim of helping the neighborhood by providing more jobs. So sorry to ramble on, but I just had to get that off my chest. It's going to be hard, but I'm going to do my best to ween myself off of Walmart.

by keeping only 2 of their 40 lanes open and manning them with the slowest, most incompetent people they can find.
If you have checked out in one of these lanes over the past 5 years, you can't get to self checkout quick enough.

Just curious, but doesn't that oil come from the hemp that Saint Danniford is growing on his farm?

Lol, yes I do feel better. It's just their terrible customer service that finally got to me yesterday. They had no open registers and refused to check me out. so since I don't work for Walmart, I just left the grocery and cart.

Get used to it. Companies aren’t going to pay a bunch of people $15 an hour to run a register.

If Old Sam Walton where here he would drive into each Walmart with a Bobcat and tear everyone of those self check out registers. Then he would probably fire half the people in management. He would hire good people and pay they a decent wage and make sure shoppers received excellent customer service.
He would also put quality products on the shelves and they would stay full. He was a great man. It would break his heart to see what his kids have done to Walmart. I use to be in management when he ran the show. He treated every associate with respect and gave each employee shares of Walmart stock with each paycheck. He would sometimes bring his dogs In the store with him before we would open. Never opened on Sunday’s and would not sell alcohol.
Now his kids are running Walmart straight into the ground.

sold gas. When someone drove up to the gas pump, we checked oil and water, washed windshield and pumped $5.00 worth of gas at 16.9 per gallon. Those days of course, are gone forever. This is soon coming to big stores. Check out your own.

No surprise there, you always agree with GWPTiger. I've been on here awhile, mostly reading. I've always been respectful and never called anyone names and I really would appreciate the same respect. We're all adults(I guess). This also is not a Covid19 board but I've not noticed you or GWPTiger commenting about that. Have a great day. Fight Tigers!!!!!!
