The birds and critters are in a feeding frenzy and that indicates the fish are biting! You would have to hide to put your worm on the hook today. The fish would be jumping in the boat!

Behind a tree today to bait out hooks"...Lo and behold..one day at Martin's Creek on Hartwell...I caught a big crappie and my dad took it off...my minnow qas still on the hook and dangling iver the side of the boat about a foot out of the water, while my dad put him in the cooler. Well sir, a 2 lb. Crappie came out of the qater and got that minnow....I kid you not....

IMO, Crappie are the best fresh water fish in South Carolina. I know I would love to have a couple pans of fried Crappie any time of the year, love them!!!

Maybe for some, but I don't like to fish with it being as windy as it is today!!! If you found a place where they were hanging out, you would need a 50 pound anchor to hold your boat in that area!!!

I fished a couple of nice creeks today about mid-day and didn't even get a nibble. I gave up and went for a round of disc golf. Had a good round despite the wind
