Clemson boy is still waking up --
Even as a hippie, I never had that "die young and leave a beautiful corpse" attitude as I aint never been beautiful.
H a P p y B i R t H d A y to me.
I am surely no longer "middle aged".
Can I still move about?
Today I can unless cold beer later trips me up.
I started today with a short 3 mile hike, elevation gain 233ft. (real men don't walk, they hike).
Then I went on an Al Bundy vacation for the rest of today. That means sitting here in my porch chair, and everyone must pretend I am not here.
There are guys older than me out there still doing the job like The Stones, Frankie Valli, and President Trump. I aint as healthy as many geezers, but I did wake up again today.
I still require no meds. My teeth are good, no dentures. My eyes are good, no glasses. My joints are strong, no arthritis. My hair is gone, but I never had much. I have too much "happy fat", but my brain still works OK.
I have a beautiful Bride and lots of critters. I have good neighbors, and a couple of friends. I live in a paradise near Clemson that folks spend money to visit as tourist.
I have a comfy shelter. I can afford all the foods I like. I have many things for entertainment.
I may not wake up tomorrow, but I am doing OK today.

Eyes wear out. In Clemson one can have the cloudy lens removed and new ones inserted. I say all should look into it.
