Would you take Bobby Hurley as our coach?

I know CBB isn’t getting fired (or poached for that matter), but if Bobby Hurley is available if/when Clemson moves on from CBB, would you want him? I see a return to the east coast and the ACC as extremely enticing for Hurley; Arizona St never seemed like a great fit. What say you?

Hated him as a player for Duke, but I like him as a coach. He's a really intense competitor, sometimes a little over the top. He reminds me of Rick Barnes, as he is not afraid to get t'd up when having the back of his team. Like you said, I don't think CBB loses his job, but I wouldn't mind seeing Hurley on the sidelines.

Lateral move as he's had as had as much or slightly less success at ASU as Brownell has had at Clemson

and I believe many would not want to hire a former Duke player as a coach.

Coach Brownell is only 55 years old. I don't see him retiring for another 10-15

years. Neff has him on a lifetime contract and no other AD will pay him more than he currently makes at Clemson.

should flat out LOVE having him ON your side. A tough as nails competitor who was never afraid to mix it up, I suspect he coaches much the same way. A fire that is completely missing on our sidelines. Whatever else you may think of Brownell, good or bad, INTENSE is never a word you would use in describing him. It applies to Hurley.

I think I’d like Chris Collin’s better. He has done a good job at Northwestern.
