Won't be surprise if J. Lukas gets moved to Safety

or at the very least is cross-trained there either the second half of the year or next year. It looks like we are going "All In" on Mukuba at CB so we seem short numbers at Safety. Right now at corner it's Jones (when healthy)/Wiggins/Mukuba as the top 3 guys. Pride seems to have pushed his way to CB4 and Davis is now CB5. Lukas is CB6. At Safety the top 3 guys are Phillips/Mickens/Venables. Covil is Safety4. Who is after him?

Based on Lukas' high school tape I personally had him pegged as a Safety anyway since all his highlights were "hit sticks". At 6'2-6'3 Lukas has a big frame to add weight and he seems a little too stiff to me to be a top college CB. I think the move would benefit both him and the team.

He's barely getting any touches on offense lately.

Maybe we can turn him into a CB like we did with Derion Kendrik and occasionally Hunter Renfrow.

We are short at safety.

Landen Zanders medically retired before the season started.
