IF he had told them yes? Saying, they are here to twist his arm and talk him into it which explains why he was out on the trail recruiting for Clemson, with Dabo once.

Bottom line is Venables is divided 50-50 thus the visit & push imo!

It is Oklahoma athletic department tradition that the AD flies out to get new head coaching hires and fly back to campus with them. They have done this for a very long time. Did they do this because it gives them a time to discuss the next steps. There was already a crowd forming at the Norman airport and they will not have a chance to do that when they land
