I always found that to be one of the lamest Insults that Gamecocks tried to use against Clemson.
I would maybe get it if they were like Stanford or something in other sports and were racking up titles. But they aren’t. They have Women’s basketball and what else? Moderate success in women’s soccer and tennis, but still not nationally elite in those sports.
They are closer to being a one sport school than we are.

That's when you ask how many titles have they won in any sport, then tell them how many Clemson has won in multiple sports, and tell them they should be careful how they call their rival school a one sport school when Clemson is winning titles in multiple sports that they can't claim!!!

you should also include Women’s Equestrianingship or whatever ever the proper term might be. They are very proud of that one. I, however, don’t rank it anywhere close to our most obscure championship in concrete canoe racing.

but that is the life of Civil Engineer. When we are successful, which all to often we are, no fan fare. We just make life better for the public.
But that said, 3CT welcomes Clemson soccer to the 3 Timers club! Great job guys!

They do have better equestrian and fishing teams, so there's that. Although I like our Alumni Fishing Team against theirs.

Remind them about our mens National Championship in soccer this year. Our awesome womens softball team. And other sports we excell at. And Remind them that right now they are mainly known for womens basketball.
Ask the besides baseball what have their mens teams won a NC in.?
If their football program continues to finish .500 or below they can close the upper decks at our home away from home WB.
Sorry I left out bass fishing team. What have they hooked?
