Jan 11, 2022, 3:01 PM

For me Klobuchar without question.

DeSantis

Because he's a fringe Fascist.

I mean people say that every chance they get but

my property value and number of people moving to this state say otherwise

Great point.

Why is that a good point? The property values boomed in NY and California too. That's part of the reason they are leaving. The cost of living. Property values boomed all over the place though. My place is up around 40% since I bought it 1 just over a year ago in Wilmington. Everyone says that this Governor sucks. People are looking for more reasonable places to live.

Not because of DeSantis though. It's the weather and taxes.

Ok, but the clients who walk into the real estate office

Jan 11, 2022, 3:48 PM

where I work say otherwise...

New York and California have also done excellent jobs with managing COVID, no?

I don't even think about COVID so I have no idea. I am from California originally and have lived in NY as well. The people that are moving to Fla from those spots are moving for tax reasons and cost of living generally.

I forgot to add. Now that people can work remote that's even more reason to move there. There is also that tech boom going on in Miami too.

Blue states can’t control the weather but it seems they could do something about the taxes

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

i would disagree. People moved there last yr bc

Jan 11, 2022, 4:14 PM [ in reply to Re: I mean people say that every chance they get but ]

he kept Fla open.

But in general, yes, they move there b/c of what you mentioned

I lived there fore a lot of years until about a year ago and I am going to buy a 2nd place down there somewhat soon, but the Governor was never a factor. I never even really noticed what they were doing to be honest even when I lived there. I live in NC now and I couldn't even tell you my Governors name.

Twas a joke...
