Who do you see as a possible replacement OC?

Maybe Joker Phillips, the ex-Kentucky HC or Gus Malzahn

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Malzahn is not coming here.***

If he leaves which I don't think he will. I would take

Kurt Roper - OC for Duke in heartbeat.

Think of what he has done at duke with that talent! Imagine what he could do at Clemson! Peyton and Eli manning coach

It's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when.***

Here's my Top 5:

Nov 25, 2012, 4:23 PM [ in reply to Re: When Chad Morris leaves.... ]

Kliff Kingsbury (Texas A&M)
Jim Chaney (Tennessee)
Tim Beck (Nebraska)
Mick McCall (Northwestern)
Mark Helfrich (Oregon)

Granted: this looks like more of a child's Christmas wish list than reality. I also know that some of these guys are probably eyeing Head Coaching jobs too, and going to an ACC school is a step down. But you gotta dream big right?

The real question is how much slack Dabo has in his

rope for a bad season.

We just had one. 10-2 but not a single goal met but win 10

Nov 25, 2012, 4:27 PM

which with our schedule is almost a must to keep your job. We fired TB and he won 9 his last full season, never had a losing season, and owned the coots. When you only play 2 solid teams and get dominated and lose both games by 10 plus points, you aren't making progress or getting the job done.

I heard Morris stays until his daughter finishes Daniel High

Nov 25, 2012, 4:11 PM

I think she is a junior this year, so my guess is we have him for one more year.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Jim Chaney, hands down

Nov 25, 2012, 4:26 PM

He was great at Purdue and great at Tennessee.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Tennessee gave USC's D more trouble than any other team

Nov 25, 2012, 4:29 PM

they faced all year hands down, at WB no less. Then again they lost to Vandy, but I think UT had sort of given up on the season by then.

Nov 25, 2012, 4:48 PM

Tenn has a top 3 offensive line. Clemson is not even top 100

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Chaney is a good O-Line coach as well

Nov 25, 2012, 4:51 PM

He helped build the O-Lines at Purdue and U. Tenn

culture, but Barker is perfectly happy with things as is and our wimpy fan base does not hold him accountable. Twenty years ago TB and Dabo would have been run out of town. Actually, Dabo even mentioned as HC would have started a sh!t storm and near riot 20 years ago.

We need a whole new change of philosophy, at least

offensively. Sick of gimmick offenses that we've been obsessed with since T Bowden came from Tulane. I would like to a have a power running game with beasts on the O line and 220 lbs running backs breaking arms up the middle.

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sumlin & A&M seem to make it work

Nov 25, 2012, 4:43 PM

You just have to have the O-Line to make it work.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

LOL, that's a big "just"***

Nov 25, 2012, 4:44 PM

military_donation.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I think we can put together a good O-Line

Nov 25, 2012, 4:52 PM

I think some of the talent on the current team could make it happen, esp at tackle.
